Kate Greville, a Public Relations (PR) executive who is the ex-girlfriend of Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs, says the football star wanted to “have sex all the time” and would call her “up to 50 times an hour”.
Giggs is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Jurors were told the 48-year-old’s private life involved a “litany of abuse, both physical and psychological, of a woman he professed to love”.
The Welshman denies using controlling and coercive behaviour against Greville between August 2017 and November 2020.
In a 105-minute police interview played on Tuesday morning of day two of the former Wales senior national team coach’s trial, Greville detailed “red flags” in their relationship that included Giggs “flipping” on more than one occasion in hotel rooms.
Greville, 36, claimed that she learned Giggs was having an affair with eight different women from perusing his iPad after she decided to move out of his home during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
“I made it my mission to find out the truth,” she said. “That’s when I started checking his iPad. The reality of what I found on that iPad was way worse than you could ever imagine.”
She claimed there were “eight women he was having affairs with” since their relationship began in 2014.
She also detailed how he would react angrily to accusations of him seeing other women throughout their relationship.
