Samson Siasia has been preparing his squad for penalty kicks as they prepare to face Germany in the Semi-final of the ongoing men’s football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics. The team are leaving no stone unturned as they prepare to face the free-scoring Germans. The Germans netted ten goals against Fiji and recently, in the quarterfinals put four past the Portuguese team. In total, the team has scored close to 20 goals in the competition.
Siasia has, however, said that the team is more than ready to give what it takes to shock the Germans. He expressed confidence that his boys will go all out and get the job done.
“We are here to win. Considering what we have passed through, we cannot come this far and go home empty-handed.
“We have a better understanding now and I believe the boys have picked up. Denmark gave us a good fight but they stood their grounds,” Siasia said.
