Italian side, AS Roma, have confirmed Kostas Manolas’ imminent departure to Napoli, after bidding the defender a farewell.
Napoli are said to have signed the Greek international for €36 million, after activating his release clause.
According to Italian publication, Calciomercato.com, the 27-year-old will soon leave for Naples as he will undergo his medicals with the Carlo Ancelotti side.
Manolas will form a formidable partnership with Kalidou Koulibaly in the heart of the Napoli defence.
Roma posted a video, saying goodbye to the player, who has been at the club for five years.
Meanwhile, Diawara will join Roma from Napoli.
