Arise Television presenter, Oseni Rufai, has mocked the presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over plots to get him fired from his job at the television statement.
Recall that Arise TV had slammed Bayo Onanuga and Dele Alake of the APC presidential campaign council for attempting to cower the media house into sacking Rufai.
Newsbreak Nigeria had earlier reported that the leadership of ThisDay Newspaper and Arise TV criticized the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, its Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, and its Director of Strategic Communication, Mr. Dele Alake, for trying to intimidate and silence independent media ahead of the 2023 general elections.
However, responding to the allegation, the ruling party accused the media house of attempting to bully the party’s presidential candidate into attending presidential town halls which according to the party, was haphazardly organised.
But in a tweet on Wednesday, Rufai urged the ruling party to attend debates indicating that he is not the problem of the party.
“Some people want mesacked. Hahahahahah Joke of the year.Pls attend debate and townhall.Rufai is not your problem oooo.Let your candidate come for debates,” Rufai wrote.
