PLEASE JOIN ME PRAY FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOUL OF CELESTINA
Dear Celestina Odion Omogbai,
Just a week ago, your many years of academic labour came to an end as you were inducted into the prestigious ranks of the Nigerian Medical Laboratory Scientists.
To think that you met your end soon after, at the hands of unfortunate kidnappers is even more painful. Your country failed you. This government failed you. Nigeria failed you.
Your only crime was that you dared to travel from Ekpoma to Abuja, in broad day light. Your crime was that you were Nigerian.
The news of your passing broke us all. Your family misses you. Your friends miss you. Annunciation Catholic Church Irrua misses you. FECAMDS NIGERIA miss you. The College of Medicine, Ambrose Alli University misses you.
May God console your family. I cannot dare imagine what they must be going through at this point.
May your spirit forgive your killers, may they never know peace, and may your gracious soul rest in peace, Amen.
