Newly-elected Adaklu Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Stephen Akwasi Obimpeh Odewale has died.
According to reports, Odewale who recently got his appointment as the party chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of Adaklu Constituency in Ghana died at the Ho Teaching Hospital on Wednesday midday after a short illness.
Close sources say he was not well before the recently held constituency elections.
Meanwhile, the party has scheduled May 27 to May 29, 2022, for the conduct of its regional annual delegates conference for the election of regional executive officers.
The elected officers will steer the party’s affairs going into the 2024 general election where the party is poised to win power and break the eight-year power cycle.
