Aishat Obi, a popular Igbo Muslim, says fellow Biafra activists informed her and others that Islam will not accepted in the southeast in the event a Biafra Republic is realised.
Newsbreak reports that according to Obi, the “evil new law against Islam” was why she and some other Igbo Muslims “pulled out” of the Biafra agitation.
“At Obigbo (in Rivers State), I stopped attending Biafra meeting the day I was asked not to be coming to meeting with hijab that there will be nothing like Islam in Biafra land,” she said via her known Facebook page on Monday.
“We the Muslims, even the ones from Edo state complained bitterly about it we tried our best to make you people understand that religion shouldn’t have nothing to do with freedom but you people called us Sabo and Hausa agent.
