Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, will leave the club as a free agent on Thursday.
The Spaniard will be leaving the Los Blancos after 16 years.
He had failed to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract.
The 35-year-old posted Madrid’s logo on social media with a message: “Gracias”, which he also interpreted in English.
The former Sevilla player made 671 appearances for the Spanish giants, scoring an amazing 101 goals.
The defender won five La Liga titles, four Champions League trophies, two Copa Del Rey, Four Spanish Super Cups, Three UEFA Super Cups and four FIFA Club World Cup titles.
He missed out of Spain’s Euro 2020 squad, having being plagued with injuries for most of last seasons.
He played only 15 games for Madrid in the league last season, in which the club finished second behind winners, Atletico Madrid.
