Seven members of a family have reportedly died after eating suya with juice in Umueze Umuakanu Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.

The suya was said to have been bought by the father identified by ABN TV as Mr. Jessey.

His family, including extended family members, who were visiting, were said to have joined to eat the suya.
