A man simply identified as Shola, head of department at Eko Innovation Centre, where Moradeun Balogun, a lady who was stabbed and bled to death in Lagos worked, said several persons had been attacked previously in Charly Boy area of Gbagada, where the deceased fell victim.
Moradeun was reportedly robbed and stabbed in the neck around the area by hoodlums on Monday, while returning from work.
She was rushed to RJolad Hospital in Gbagada, where doctors allegedly rejected her, after the ‘Good Samaritans’ who rushed her there could not provide a police report.

The Podcast host later died at the Gbagada General Hospital, having lost too much blood.
Speaking at a candle night service held for her by friends on Thursday at River Valley Estate, Ojodu Berger, Shola blamed the government for failing to address the prevalent problem of insecurity in the area over the years.
“To be honest, it is a very terrible thing and it is not one that every friend, family of Moradeun will get over just quickly.

“We know that everywhere in the world, this kind of situation won’t occur. For one, we know that the place in which Morayo was stabbed, has been known to be a place where several people have been stabbed in that same location.
“And to think that the government has not done anything about it, despite happening over and over again; to think that there are no street lights there; to think that there are no police officers.

“The saddest thing about this is that she had the chance to fight for her life,” he lamented.
