Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, on Wednesday castigated the presidency for only recognising the poor during campaigns.
Newsbreak recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday evening hosted leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in an Iftar dinner at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Earlier, last Saturday, his wife, Aisha, hosted several presidential aspirants as they attended an Iftar dinner organised by her at Old Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja.
The Iftar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. They break their fast at the time of the call to prayer for the evening prayer.

In a cryptic Twitter post this morning, the 2023 Kaduna State governorship aspirant said: “They don’t break Ramadan fast with the poor that voted for them.”
Ramadan 2022 is expected to end in Nigeria on Sunday.
