Nigerians on Twitter have been attacking Shehu Sani, a former Senator from Kaduna State, over his tweet on the Federal Government’s conditional cash transfer, a programme designed to uplift the condition of the urban poor who in the next six months will receive N5,000.

The Senator described the initiative as a way of “formalising the nation’s membership into the Stingy Convention.”
He said, “With 5k to Nigerians through conditional cash transfer,the FG has formalized the nation’s membership into the Stingy Convention.”
His comment has prompted Nigerians to react to his tweet asking him to outline his achievements while he was serving as a senator.
