The Federal Government and the Kaduna State government have come under fire for their silence over the murder of Victoria Chintex, a leader of the Labour Party, who was assassinated in Kaduna last week.
A former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani in a tweet on Friday chided the Nasir El-Rufai-led Kaduna government and the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government for not releasing any statement regarding the death of Chintex.
He further lamented that no security agency, state or federal legislators from Kaduna state had released any statement on the death of the Labour Party women leader who was assasinated last week.
“Mrs Victoria Chintex murdered in cold blood last Tuesday. No statement by the state Government. No statement by the FG. No statement by the state and federal legislators from Kaduna state. No statement by the security agencies,” Sani wrote.
Recall that gunmen reportedly broke into the women leader’s home and shot her dead last Tuesday. Her husband was also shot during the attack but he survived.
