Shehu Sani, former senator representing Kaduna Central, has urged the Federal Government to name the Kaduna railway station after Tolulope Arotile, Nigerian Air Force’s first female combat helicopter pilot.
Sani said this in a tweet on Monday.

Arotile died on July 14 after her friend’s car hit her at the Kaduna NAF base.
She was buried at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Thursday.

Ibikunle Daramola, Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force, said the first level of investigation had been concluded by NAF and the case transferred to the police for further investigation.

He added that police from the Kawo Division have been involved in the case since it happened.
