Sunday Adeyemo, a Yoruba activist popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has said warned security agents against targetting innocent Nigerians while they enforce President Muhammadu Buhari’s shoot-on-sight order.

Buhari has ordered security agents to shoot authorised person found carrying an AK-47 rifle.
Sunday Igboho, in an audio posted by Femi Fani-Kayode said Buhari’s order is commendable but warned security agents to go to where the bandits are located as revealed by Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a Kaduna cleric.
He warned the security operatives that Yoruba farmers who carry Dane guns must not be shot. He urged them to concentrate on the north, where he claimed the bandits are abound.

“I’m happy with President Muhammadu Buhari’s order. It’s been a while bandits ahve been tormenting us in this country but our cries have finally forced an action from the President.
“My warning goes to security agents. Gumi has shown you where the bandits, face them and leave Yorubas and Igbos alone. Nothing must happen to our brothers,” he said in Yoruba.
“The security operatives must know that our fathers and brothers who bear single or double barrel guns do so to protect themselves and are not the targets. It would be bad of them to shoot such people and place AK-47 rifles near their remains to implicate them
