Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Abubakar Saraki Football Club have been relegated to the Nigeria National League after losing there last games in the Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The two clubs joined Remo Stars and Gombe United, who currently are in relegation.
Shooting Stars failed to get a draw against Niger Tornadoes, which would have helped the club avoid falling from the elite league.
However, the club, which is also known as 3SC, relegated after it lost by 2-0, to finish 17th on the log table with 50 points.
Saraki Boys needed a win over Nasarawa United in Lafia to stay afloat, but they lost 2-1 to finish the season on 50 points in 18th position, with lesser goals difference to Shooting Stars.
