Some Spanish media outlets are angry with Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale, over inscription on Wales flag on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old was seen with his national teammates chanting and holding a flag, after they secured qualification to Euro 2020 on Wednesday, with the writing: “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.”
It happened following their 2-0 victory over Hungary at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star is now under fire for putting Golf before Real in order of priority. His love for the game has been often perceived by the press in Spain as a subject of unnecessary distraction for him.
Bale had been available to play again this week, following a month on the sidelines.
