A speeding Hyundai car tumbled into Majidun River, in Ikorodu area of Lagos, with its driver drowning.
The deceased, 20-year-old Seun Akinyosoye was reportedly driving home with a friend, identified as Sodiq Teriba at the time the incident happened. According to a report, Teriba was rescued, while his friend died.
Akinyosoye’s corpse has been deposited at the Ikorodu General Hospital morgue.
