In the video shared on YouTube by Sahara Reporters, Koiki said he and other secessionists are ready for whatever may be on the way. He swore that the Yoruba would leave Nigeria and nothing would stop them.
He also said Nigerians described as elites no longer speak for Yoruba but for themselves. He vowed that the agitation would continue, saying Nigerians are suffering and tired of being citizens of a country that does not care about them.
Koiki dismissed claims he was in the struggle for self fulfillment, saying he could afford to live a comfortable life in Nigeria or the United Kingdom.
