Sunderland boss David Moyes has said that his side will play defensively against Liverpool when they clash at Anfield this weekend. The former Manchester United boss said it was difficult to play with the in-form side with Jurgen Klopp’s men the highest scoring side with 30 goals already.

“You have to park the double-decker bus,” said the Scot.

“Anybody playing Liverpool has to park the double-decker bus.

“We’ve got two strikers [Jermain Defoe and Victor Anichebe] at the other end of the pitch scoring goals as well, but I don’t think you can kid yourselves.

“They’re a good team in good form – I would probably shake your hand now and say thanks [if offered a draw].”

Sunderland recorded their first victory of the season in a 2-1 away win at Watford before beating Hull City 3-0 in the Premier League.
