Super Six: IfeanyiUbah Coach, Okagbue Blames Players For Poor Results

Uche Okagbue, coach of FC IfeanyiUbah, has blamed his players for the team’s poor performance in the ongoing NPFL Super Six at the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos.

The Nnewi team have lost all their four matches in the competition, with the latest being their 3-1 defeat to table toppers, Enyimba International, on Monday.

Ahead of their final game on Wednesday, Okagbue said it is the fault of the players that his team have failed to pick a point so far in the competition.

“It is the fault of my players because I told them to be determined”, he said.

“So I had the believe that we will pull a surprise, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us.

“My players have played badly in this competition.”

Enyimba, Kano Pillars and Akwa United are in the driving seat to win the 2018/2019 abridged NPFL season, to be determined by the best winner of the Super Six.

Enyimba lead the table on 9 points, Pillars trail by a point, while Akwa are on 6 points
