Kingsley Moghalu, presidential candidate of the Youth Progressive Party (YPP) in the 2019 presidential election, has questioned the thinking of Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police.
He was responding to the creation of Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT), a replacement of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
He likened it to putting an old wine in a new wine skin.
“I’m very skeptical about the quick shift from SARS into SWAT. Old wine in new wine skin? This does not show the depth of thinking we need to solve the problem of policing in Nigeria.
#ReformTheNigerianPolice,” he tweeted.
