TCN Says Lagos Will Be Without Electricity On Monday

TCN The Transmission Company of Nigeria has said that Lagos will be plunged into darkness on Monday, 18 July. The company stated that the situation was due to ongoing maintenance works at the Akangba 132KV transmission substation. The company said the Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Apapa, Ijora, Alagbon, Itire, Oshodi, Mushin, Nigerian Airforce Base areas and its environs will be affected.

The Public Relations Officer, TCN, Lagos Region, Celestina Osin, in a statement, apologised to consumers for the inconveniences the maintenance works may cause.
