‘The Experience’ musical event is commonly referred to as The Experience Lagos or The Experience Concert.
Newsbreak.ng reports that the event is an annual, free gospel music concert held in Nigeria.
Convened and hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the head of all House On The Rock, Lagos, Nigeria in 2006, the first concert of ‘The Experience’ reportedly had an attendance of 70,000 people.
The concert features local and international artists such as Don Moen, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, Frank Edwards, Nathaniel Bassey, and Chioma Jesus.
The Experience is dubbed the biggest gospel musical concert in Africa.

This news medium reports that ‘The Experience Lagos’ is back at the TBS after a two-year hiatus.
As a result of the restrictions on mass gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the concert (tagged “The Experience 15 – Global Edition”), was performed virtually, with the performances live-streamed on satellite television and social media.
The Experience Lagos 2021 held specially at the House On The Rock Church. Organizers of The Experience Lagos 2021 announced that members of the public are welcome to attend the live event at the House On The Rock Church, Lekki, Lagos, but it was strictly by invitation.
The Experience Lagos 2022 Date
The Experience Lagos 2022 (Experience 17) will be held on Friday, December 2. The event starts at 7 PM (West Africa Time, WAT).

‘The Experience’ 17 is going to be a free, all-night Gospel music concert featuring some of the most celebrated and exceptional psalmists from Nigeria and across the globe.
This much-followed concert is convened annually by Pastor Adefarasin.
Now in its 17th iteration, The Experience concert, which made its debut Friday, December 1st, 2006, has grown, garnering awards such as “The Event Shows/Programmes of The Year by The Association of Professional Party Organisers and Event Planners in Nigeria (APPOEMN), “The Corporate Event Of The Year’ by The Most Influential People of African Descent [MIPAD] and The Event Of Excellence Award by African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) amongst others.
A variety of comedy performances will feature, as well as goodwill messages and intercessory prayers.
This year’s edition will once again bring together internationally-recognised artistes, luminaries, and icons, all uniting under the banner of Jesus Christ.
