A man who allegedly stole 14 phones worth N2 million at Computer Village in the Ikeja area of Lagos State has been apprehended and handed over to the police.

This was disclosed in a post on Twitter by an individual simply identified as Abiodun, with the handle @iamAbiodunAA, on Tuesday.
Abiodun, who describes himself as a Digital Marketing and Website Developer on his profile, had raised an alarm on Twitter on Sunday, alleging that an individual broke into LarryBComms stores at Computer Village on 14 March. and stole 14 phones.

The post, which was accompanied by a CCTV footage of the suspected thief, noted that a N50,000 bounty would be given to anyone who provides useful information on the suspect.
On Tuesday, two days after the initial post, Abiodun tweeted a video of three persons in a car with the suspected thief.

According to the driver of the vehicle, the suspected thief – whose identity was not disclosed – was caught in the Akute area of Ogun State, adding that they were on their way to handover the suspect to the police station.
