One Idowu Adekoya and two other women, who cursed Governor Dapo Abiodun for allegedly distributing beans filled with stones as palliatives, have been arrested.

The women also cursed the local government chairman and vice chairman of the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area for the same reason.

The Punch reports that the counsel for the accused, Gboyega Okenla, said the women are being investigated for conspiracy and conduct likely to cause breach of the peace. He added that they have been released but may likely return to the police station.

Meanwhile, Kunle Sumorin, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, said the video is fake and Adekoya had admitted to being influenced by disgruntled politicians to upload it.
