President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the second 2023 supplementary appropriation bill, totalling N2,176,791,286,033, into law.
The National Assembly recently passed the bill amid controversy over the provision for a presidential yacht by the Navy and over N6bn allocated for vehicles to the State House.
The signing took place during a brief event on Wednesday in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to DailyTrust, other officials present during the signing of the budget include the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele; Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Olamilekan Adeola; and Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zach Adedeji.
