Tottenham have completed the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon on a six-year contract.
Ndombele joined Spurs in a reported £53.8 million club-record deal.
The fee surpasses the £42 million Spurs paid Ajax for defender Davinson Sanchez two years ago.

The 22-year-old becomes one of Spur’s highest earners as he is expected to receive £200,000-a-week.
He made 34 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring once and providing seven assists, as Lyon finished third to qualify for the Champions League.

He also impressed in the French side’s recent European campaign, where he featured against the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona before Lyon were defeated by the Spanish giants in the last 16.
