Arsenal are set to reignite their interest in Italy and Juventus midfielder, Manuel Locatelli.
According to Calciomercato, the 24-year-old had been linked to the Gunners before and could end up heading to the English Premier League (EPL) in the near future.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will look to rectify two pieces of unfinished business in January by signing players in two specific positions, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
Gunners fans can be forgiven for looking forward to the rest of the season with a great sense of excitement.
Following their commanding 3-0 thumping of Brentford on Sunday, Mikel Arteta’s side top the EPL table going into the international break.
Writing in his column for CaughtOffside, Romano suggested that the central midfield and winger positions could be addressed when the winter window opens.
“I think their priorities will be the same as August: a midfielder and/or winger,” Romano wrote.
“But it will depend on the opportunities in the market and if they find the right player.”
