Manchester United have sent scouts to watch FC Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
According to Metro, the English Premier League (EPL) side are in the hunt for a candidate to replace David de Gea and see Costa as an interesting option.
The Portuguese has had links with a transfer to the EPL before. Indeed, Newcastle United eyed the 23-year-old up in the summer before signing England international Nick Pope from Burnley.
Costa has helped Porto keep four clean sheets in the league.
Given Costa is only 23, he would have room to develop into a dependable Old Trafford star if acquired.
