Transfer
West Ham United are planning to nick Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis from under the nose of Nottingham Forest after missing out on Jesse Lingard.
According to TalkSPORT, the Hammers are now ramping up their recruitment drive.
Forest had been linked with Watford’s Dennis. He scored 10 goals last season but couldn’t help the Hornets from dropping into the Championship.
The Nigeria international won’t come cheap and is thought to be valued in the region of £25 million.
Dennis, 24, moved to Watford last summer from Club Brugge. On an individual level, he enjoyed a solid maiden campaign in the English Premier League (EPL) and is now a wanted man.
West Ham will have significant financial clout this summer and perhaps they now have the edge over Forest.
Dennis is already a full international with the Super Eagles, and scored in his last international outing versus Sao Tome and Principe.
