The absence of the counsel to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Rotimi Jacob put to a temporary stop resumed trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, on Monday. Tribunal chairman Umar Danladi was compelled to postpone to later in the afternoon, and said Jacob ought to know the case must be dispensed with speedily as stated in the law.
Saraki is facing a 13-count charge of false assets declaration.
