Jack Dorsey, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Twitter, has lent his voice to the #EndSARS campaign by Nigerians clamouring for the scrapping of the now-defunct Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (F-SARS) and an end to police brutality and extortion.
Dorsey expressed his support for the protest in a series of posts on Twitter on Wednesday.
Twitter, a microblogging site, has been the major galvanizing tool for the protesters as the #EndSARS campaign arose from the site and helped in organising in the protests.

Dorsey also tweeted links to a donation website in support of the protests.
On the same night of Dorsey’s co-sign, the Twitter accounts of the Feminist Coalition, a group of Nigerian feminists fighting against the injustice of SARS also been organising fund-raising and support for the protests were verified.
The #EndSARS protests have continued even after Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police, announced the disbandment of F-SARS on Sunday.
