Flying Eagles of Nigeria defenders, Valentine Ozornwafor and Udo Ikouwem were included in the 2019 U-20 Total Africa Cup of Nations best eleven.
The best eleven of the U-20 AFCON was published on Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) verified Twitter handle on Sunday.
Ozornwafor was slotted in central defence while Udo was placed at left-back in the best eleven which was set up in a 4-4-2 formation.
Mali, who emerged champions of the tournament, their first ever U-20 AFCON title, had two players in the best eleven.
Runners-up, Senegal, had four, South Africa who finished third, hosts Niger Republic and Burundi all had one player each.
Mali were crowned champions in Sunday’s final, beating Senegal 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of football.
In the third-place match played on Saturday, South Africa beat Nigeria 5-3 on penalties as both sides played a goalless draw after 90 minutes.
Nigeria, Mali, Senegal and South Africa will represent Africa at this year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in May.
