Two persons are feared dead while over 50 people are said to have been kidnapped invaded the Ungwan Gimbiya community in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

It was learnt that the attack occurred in the early hours of Friday.

About 13 members of families were visited by the terrorists as the bandits were said to have stormed the community, the Punch quoted a source as saying.

Ungwan Gimbiya, located around Sabo had witnessed a mass exodus of residents from the area following the activities of bandits in the area.

There has been no official reaction by the Kaduna State government or the Kaduna Police Command to the attack as of the time of filing this report.
