Two Men, Suleimon Abdulamid, 40, and Kelechi Sunday, 41, were arraigned before an Ebute Meta court for allegedly stealing cable wire belonging to the Eko Electric Distribution Company.
The prosecutor, Moses Uademevbo, told the court that the accused stole two pieces of armored cables and damaged another 12-meter-length cable, that worth N254,000 at A-Z Oil and Gas Company, Dockyard, Apapa.
The duo accused pleaded not guilty and was admitted on bail by the presiding the magistrate, O.O.A. Fowowe-Erusiafe, in the sum of N100, 000 each with two sureties each in like sum.
She adjourned the case to 27 July, 2016.
