The All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State Chapter, has lent its voice to the governorship aspirant, Uche Nwosu’s recent arrest,  saying no one is above the law.

According to Imo State APC’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Cajetan Duke, in an official statement, supported that the arrest of Nwosu in a worship place was followed in due process.

Recall that NewsBreak reported that Nwosu was arrested on Sunday in a church service at St Peter’s Anglican Church Umunwokwe Village Eziama-Obaire Nkwerre LGA of Imo State.

Though he has since regained his freedom as confirmed on Monday, the manner of his arrest by security operatives has caused different reactions.

The statement made available to newsmen by APC on Monday noted that Nwosu, the son-in-law to former Governor Rochas Okorocha resisted invitation.

The statement also rejected claims that the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has been unable to manage the security situation in the state.

“The APC staunchly supports the governor and government of Imo in their effort to restore sanity, peace, order and sustainable economic development in the state.” statement said.
