University of Lagos students declared Black Friday to honour the student, Oluchi Anekwe, electrocuted by a naked wire on Wednesday.

It was reported that lectures would not hold in the University, as all students would assemble at the Faculty of Business Administration quadrangle, clad in black, to honour the deceased.

The students were also reported to have proceeded to the house of the deceased to commiserate with her parents.
