As part of its efforts in preparing the young generation for the future, Union Bank Nigeria PLC has selected 25 students as finalists in the Next Robotics Legend competition.

The competition is an initiative put together by Edu360 – the bank’s education platform and Awarri founded by top international robotics engineer, Silas Adekunle, and the aim is to equip young people with the know-how of using robotics and artificial intelligence in tackling day-to-day challenges in different areas of life like power generation and healthcare delivery among others.
The selected 25 students who emerged from a total of 1,045 entries submitted, will undergo a 6-week virtual training. They were inducted on Thursday, September 10.

They will be exposed to different online tutorials with the a aid of MekaMon (Awarri robot) and a tablet.
