Veteran comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, has been laid to rest on Thursday (today) at his residence at Ewu Elepe area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The actor took his last breath on Monday with his wife and children beside him.
The news of his death drew reactions from prominent Nigerians, including the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; and a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
The funeral was attended by family and friends of the deceased, including, Femi Adebayo, Mr Latin, Papi Luwe, and many others.
Speaking to NewsBreak about the late actor’s legacy, Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin said: “Baba Suwe is a legendary actor, he brought comedy to the comedians, his legacy in the Nigerian Movie Industry will never die.”
