Some residents of Anambra State scrambled for bottles of beer after a truck conveying crates of the product fell down on the road.

The incident, it was learnt, occurred at the Ekwulobia area of the state on Friday.

In a now-viral video, the residents were seen checking through the crates and carrying the undamaged bottles of beer away.

In the struggle for their loot, the beer scoopers, however, struggled to maintain the social distancing directive implemented by the Federal Government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
