Unidentified armed hoodlums on Thursday attacked #EndSARS protesters in Lagos State clamouring for an end to brutality and extortion allegedly committed by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
A number of videos posted online showed the #EndSARS protesters gathered around the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa, Ikeja, running and scampering for safety as gunshots were heard in the background.
The thugs also vandalised the transportation buses of the Lagos State government.
Some of the protesters claimed that the thugs sprang out at around past 8am and were armed with several items, including machetes and guns.
