VIDEO: Unidentified Policemen Assault Two Boys In Lagos

A video has emerged of some yet-to-be-identified policemen assaulting two persons in the Meiran area of Lagos State.

The video, shared on Twitter by Connect Hub NG, a platform that documents and advocates against State violence in Nigeria, showed a man on dreadlock wearing a white pant and holding his face as he staggered and fell while others looked on.

According to Connect Hub NG, the assaulted victims are currently being detained at the Meiran Police Station.

“Unidentified Nigerian @PoliceNG Officers Attached to Mieran Police Division Shot thrice, Assault and Brutalize 2 Boys with Tear Gas At Iyana Ekoro, Lagos State.

“The Assaulted Victims are Currently Detained at Mieran & Access to them is Being Denied,” the tweet said.
