Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, reportedly stormed out of the All Progressives Congress APC) governor’s meeting after he was allegedly asked to step down for a Southern candidate.
Sources say Yahaya who is also aspiring to be the party’s presidential flagbearer in the 2023 presidential election, stormed out of the meeting with his colleagues after he was asked to step down for a Southern candidate.
It is also being reported that he was angry about the decision of the party to make Senate president, Ahmad Lawan, its consensus candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
