Members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) detained by the Oyo State Police Command for arresting Iskilu Wakili, a notorious Fulani bandit, have been released.

Rotimi Olumo, coordinator of the OPC in the state, said the three members were released on health grounds.
The three men were arrested for killing a woman after setting Wakili’s house ablaze.

Wakili claimed he was badly treated and was ill when he was apprehended. He said he was thrown into the OPC’s vehicle and driven away while his home was set ablaze.
