Spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, Dino Melaye, and a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, reunited at the memorial in honour of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s father (Olusola) on Monday and both seemed to share jokes.
Newsbreak.ng reports that Messrs Fani-Kayode and Melaye have been engaged in a serious war of words over party affiliation.
While the former minister is a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and presently the Director of Special Media Projects and Operations and New Media, Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Melaye is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In the course of their exchanges online, they used unprintable words to describe each other.
But in a video sighted by this newspaper, both men shook hands, hugged, and chatted as Melaye laughed hard.
At the memorial in honour of late Olusola Saraki held in Abuja, former Senate presidents, incumbent and former governors, ministers, the leadership of the National Assembly, traditional rulers and captain of industries gathered to dignify the late frontline politician and Senate Majority Leader in the Second Republic 10 years after his demise.
