A video has surfaced online where a yet-to-be-identified man and woman were spotted walking totally naked on the streets of Victoria Garden City (VGC) in Lagos.
The incident caused panic and confusion in VGC, as residents and onlookers tried to intervene.
The naked ‘couple’ however told those confronting them to come to their house with them.
Some of those at the scene could be heard saying it was possible the couple were engaged in a ritual act which required them to walk around naked at night.
Others suggested the couple could possibly be identifying as nudists and were walking around based on that.
It is still unclear why the couple did what they did as they walked into a compound believed to be their house and locked the gates afterwards.
