A video has emerged showing how the vehicle that conveyed Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, was riddled with bullets.
Newsbreak.ng had reported how some gunmen on Friday attacked Suleman’s convoy, killing seven people, including three police officers.
The fiery preacher escaped death by a whisker.
This news medium gathered that the attack occurred around Auchi area of Edo State, South-south Nigeria, while the popular televangelist was heading to an unidentified location, hours after returning from a trip to Tanzania.
The police spokesman in Edo State, Chuidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the attack.
He confirmed the killing of Suleman’s drivers and the police officers who were his orderlies.
“Direct shooting; as in, direct shooting. They just waited for me,” Apostle Suleman said in the now-viral video while filming his bullet-proof vehicle after the shooting.
An unidentified woman sat on the floor thanking God for saving them from the horror.
