An armed man who posed as a security operative was on Wednesday caught at a pro-Peter Obi rally organised in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Newsbreak.ng reports that the man, who was dressed in a suit and dark sunglasses, was caught with a dagger. He was subsequently disarmed and interrogated by security operatives present at the Adamasingba Stadium.

According to a supporter of Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, “he was standing on the way Obi would pass.”
Meanwhile, Labour Party has expressed delight with the turnout of Obi’s supporters at the presidential campaign rally held in Ibadan.
Thousands of supporters of the former Anambra State governor flooded the campaign rally in Ibadan to drum support for the presidential hopeful and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Reacting to the attendance at the event, Labour Party, in a tweet on its official handle, claimed that such an organic crowd had never been seen before in a political rally in Ibadan.
