Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari, on Tuesday shed emotional tears during the presentation of the final budget of his administration to the state house assembly.
Newsbreak.ng reports that the proposed budget, tagged ‘Budget of transition’, is valued at N288.63 billion.
It set aside 63.77 percent as capital expenditure and 36.23 percent for recurrent services.
According to Masari, the budget is designed to complete ongoing projects and start other capital projects that can be completed within the life of his administration.
The projects cut across sectors of Education, Agriculture, Health, Water Resources, Environment, Roads and Infrastructural Development.

The budget estimate is lower than the existing N323,296,220,961 2022 budget by N34,662,962,998.
This news medium understands that about N119,210,024,000 is expected from the Federation Account; N62,592,061,331 from Internally Generated Revenue (IGR); N36 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT) and N8.3 billion from Excess Crude Account.
